Something worth remembering is that even a relatively recently produced guitar will one day be a vintage instrument - a ten year old Gibson SG or Gretsch Tennessean or Martin D-28 will be vintage in just another 15 years! All famous model guitars - such as Stratocasters, Telecasters, Hummingbirds, Les Pauls, ES-335s, etc - increase in value as they age, so even a brand new model is already a collectable guitar, just waiting time to become vintage.

As we've mentioned elsewhere, the current value of the Australian dollar means right now is an ideal time to be buying the guitar of your dreams. Even after adding on customs charges, plus the cost of airfreight and the accursed GST, we can still generally find you your guitar or mandolin or bass or lap-steel at a price you can actually afford - often hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars less than you might expect.

Our shipping agents include FedEx, UPS, Schenker International, Nippon Air and others, and, (outside the Christmas and Easter periods), they will usually have your instrument safely here inside 7 - 10 days.

Our Custom Order and search process is entirely free. We deal in guitars, we talk guitars and we work on guitars seven days a week , and we are more than happy to track down the instrument you're after. Some more elusive models and limited editions can take a while, (like the rare Steve Lukather signature model Ibanez we eventually tracked down for a customer in Melbourne - after almost 12 months searching), but most popular models can be easily and quickly found, and at your door almost sooner than you'll believe.
