The Bean Blossom line was named after bluegrass pioneer Bill Monroe's original bluegrass festival in Indiana. This stunning bluegrass mandolin, in Vintage Tobacco Sunburst, was part of the final clearance of Bean Blossom models from the Morgan Monroe warehouse, which means that at this price you won't find a nicer production model mandolin in all of Australia! 

 

Brand new old stock, this is a fabulous Bean Blossom BM100, complete with its original hard shell case, 100% ready to go to work, bringing wonderful light and sparkle to your sound. 

 

Spruce top, Maple back and sides, extended Rosewood fingerboard, adjustable Rosewood bridge, gold hardware, fully bound body and neck, vintage-style gold tuners with pearl buttons and a gorgeous inlaid headstock. There's also a fully adjustable truss-rod, multi-ply pickguard, pearl dot position markers… we could go on and on!

 

Apparently too well built to be offered in their chosen price range, Morgan Monroe have ceased Bean Blossom production, now only offering products under their own name - though, we suggest, none as well built as this! Probably the best value  bluegrass mandolin you'll find under $1200 in Australia - in fact, one of Australia's top mandolin & fiddle craftsmen marveled over the quality of this exceptional instrument, and insisted that we were crazy to be selling it anywhere under a thousand dollars.
