No ifs or ands or buts, this is one of the best weighted, best feeling, best playing Teles we've had through the door in a long time! At just 7lb 5oz, you won't have any issues at all using this across an entire gig. And it plays so smoooooth and easy. Match all that to dead-on historic Telecaster tone and you've got one helluva fine instrument out of the Fender Custom Shop in California!
Be amazed
A gorgeous one-piece, premium Ash body shows the transparent Sunburst finish to perfection, while the AA-grade Maple neck,("mid-sixties oval 'C'-profile"), exhibits tastefully subtle flame, (see pic 5). But, as nice as it looks - and it does look very nice - we're all here for the noises it makes, so check out our soundfile and be amazed. "It's probably the best sounding Tele I've played!" says Ian, who plays and records most of our guitars. Coming from the illegitimate guitar-child of Eric Clapton and Carlos Santana, this is high praise, indeed.
The engine-room
The engine-room comprises a Twisted Tele neck pickup and a Classic Tele at the bridge, while you'll note that the control plate is reversed/upside-down. This puts the selector switch out of harm's way at the bottom of the plate, while placing the volume knob in a way more user friendly position, allowing you to pull off classy volume swells with ease!

Fabulous, ringing sustain
If you're ready to move on from playing a regular Tele to "playing with the big boys," this is the Tele that lets you make that leap - it's a whole different league of Telecaster. You'll lose that often brittle Tele high end, gaining a beautifully defined crispness you didn't know was possible. Likewise, the light Ash body lends itself to fabulous, ringing sustain that you've likely never experienced outside something dating back to the fifties!
