Fender's limited edition Splatter Strats were produced during 2003 only, and began climbing in price the minute production ended, especially outside the USA. Conceived at Fender's R&D division in Arizona and built at their state-of-the-art plant in Ensenada, no two Splatter Strats are the same, each one featuring its own completely unique paint job. Many people have bought Splatter Strats purely to hang on their living-room wall – it's art that you can plug in to an amp!
Rare in Australia
With only a very limited Australian availability at the time of their release, this is the third or fourth Splatter Strat we've had through in this color scheme of a deep Purple with three different shades of Blue, and just like the others, it looks great.
Condition
The guitar is in Near Mint condition: the frets are perfect; action and intonation are spot-on; the electrics are all perfect; and it plays and sounds exactly like a Strat.
