A chambered, f-hole body and a flame Maple top delivers smooth mid-range tones with a natural, resonant internal reverb – and that’s before you throw in the matched 245-S pickups!
Very comfortable
The wide/fat neck features an oiled satin finish that gives the guitar a very comfortable, played-in feel, that’s lightning fast in your hand. Other features include the 22-fret, 24.5” scale Rosewood fingerboard; meaty PRS adjustable stoptail bridge, with heavyweight brass saddles and screws; green-stone Kluson-style tuners; 3-way pickup selector switch; and individual volume & tone controls, (with clear speed knobs at Zach’s insistence).
Trampas Green
The unbound f-hole is balanced by the chocolate-y dark Rosewood fingerboard, while the clear speed knobs, cream pickup plastic and the chrome & brass of the bridge all beautifully complement the lighter shades of the gorgeous Trampas Green finish – one of the lightest Trampas Greens we’ve ever encountered.
Build quality
Myers picked up a PRS Custom 22 at the age of fifteen, with his first SE signature model following in 2010. As a guitarist who has rocked PRS on the stage and tech’d for several PRS bands, Zach has an intimate understanding of how a guitar should feel and what the build quality should be.
