Squier Telecaster - pro guitar show model
Bone nut & factory Bigsby!
This special pro model of the limited edition Squier Telecaster was produced for a showcase event at a guitar show in the US a couple of years ago, for use by the event's various company endorsed players. About 10 or 12 were made in total, and this one seems to have barely been touched - maybe handled a few times by event staff, but certainly unplayed.
Each of these guitar show instruments had a bone nut added to the nicely grained Rosewood board, which is a wider, 'pro-friendly', radius, (around 11?), than that of the production model, (9.5'). The neck itself is the slim, modern 'C' profile. The pickups appear to be the stock American single coil Alnico Tele pickups, and we don't know if all of them came with the F-logo Fender Bigsby, but we bought two of these, and both did. (The other has already been snapped up by one of Australia's top session players)
Piano Black finish with matching headstock, super-cool mirror scratchplate, Rosewood board with pearl dot inlays, Fender logo Bigsby, bone nut, full Fender pro set-up, and other than some very light handling marks here and there, is completely unplayed. (No serial number, plus a USED stamp on the back of the headstock indicate that it was a demo model, not for retail sale)
This very special Telecaster will make a great addition to your guitar arsenal. We received it in just its original flat trade show shipping box, but we'll include a brand new Fender gig bag when we ship it to you
