You probably don’t need to be told how hard it is to come across Fender instruments in Lake Placid Blue – especially Telecasters – but here’s one in Near Mint condition, personally signed by one of the finest Tele players in the business. US blues rocker Susan Tedeschi is famous for a whole bunch of reasons – her songs, her guitar playing, the fact that she’s married to another killer musician, Derek Trucks, (nephew of Allman Brothers Band drummer, Butch Trucks), and of course, as prominently featured on her album and DVD covers, her sexy Lake Placid Blue Telecaster.

It’s taken us almost two years to talk a fellow dealer in the US into parting with this guitar, which has occupied pride-of-place in his office since Susan signed it during a west coast tour several years ago. We’ve admired it on several occasions, and one recent hot August evening we finally caught him at just the right moment.

All original, the guitar plays and sounds exactly how you expect an American-built Telecaster to play and sound – acres of pure Tele twang, superb playability, and in Lake Placid Blue, it’s a total looker! In virtually brand new condition, you may just want to hang it on your wall and admire it, but it’s also just received a full setup, and is 100% ready to rock’n’roll.
