We saw one of these sold at auction in New York recently for US$2300 – that’s almost AU$3200 – and it wasn’t nearly as nice as this one. The timber on this near mint 12-string is a work of art unto itself. Just take a look at that mahogany! This one is from 1975/76, and you’d better believe that after aging for three decades, the tone woods ring like a bell – hell, they ring like a whole carillon! Not just a superb 12-string, this is one of the nicest guitars you’ll ever hear, period. Almost mark-free, you’d swear it was little more than a few months old. The tuners and frets are as-new, the inlay work is simply beautiful, the bone nut and saddle are perfect, as is the adjustable rosewood bridge. This guitar is not going to last – get in quick.
