Just Guitars Australia presents a very rare opportunity to own one of the truly legendary, guitars!
As famously played by Eddie Van Halen, David Bowie, Rick Derringer, Arlen Roth, Steve Hayden, Mark Knopfler, Allan Holdsworth and many other top name players, Ned Steinberger’s famous headless guitar design was one of the most innovative in the business, back in the eighties, and remains so today – especially for those embarked on the endless quest for pure, unadulterated tone.
Built at the original Steinberger Sound factory, in Newborough, New York, in July of 1984, this early...

Talk about being in the right place at the right time – we were so incredibly lucky to score what is almost certainly the best relic job we’ve ever seen! Mmmmm, ain’t nuthin’ finer than a vintage Red, all original, super sexy, Fender Mustang! (If you’re even halfway serious about music, you’ve got to have an original Mustang to go with your vintage Strat or Les Paul)
We recently picked up this amazing one owner Mustang in San Diego, and it’s everything a legendary guitar should be – and then some. A serious chunk of solid Ash, weighing in at 8lb 4oz, (3.7kg), with every atom of it resonating stunningly – this Mustang is the epitome of tone! And did we mention all original? Exactly as it left the Fender plant in California 42 year...

#8492 National Reso-Lectric Jr II, BRAND NEW
No longer offered by National in the Natural finish, this superb Reso-Lectric Jr was one of the last three in the warehouse. Sunburst is now the only available finish, (at a cost of around $250 extra!) NOTE: This guitar has already been snapped up a wily Just Guitars customer.
The revamped Reso-Lectric Jr has replaced the original Jr’s P90 with a sensational Lollar single coil Tele pickup, which is way more suited to the sound of the guitar. All components, from the timbers to the tuners, are hand-selected for each instrument. The model number is also the serial number, as each guitar is a 100% one-off original – the Z3 was therefore just the third of Folan’s SonicF production models.
Completed in June last year, the Z3 features an Alder back with a 2-piece White Mahogany top, Maple neck, a 25.5”scale Rosewood board and 22-medium f...

#8486 Washburn 125th Anniversary, Ltd Edition Parlor
In 2008, to celebrate their 125th anniversary, Washburn commissioned painstakingly detailed recreations of three of their late 1800s parlor guitars, each “skillfully antiqued to resemble over 100 years of wear.” Each of the three models was limited to just 250 instruments worldwide, and all three completely sold out soon after their release date. Just Guitars is therefore very pleased to offer a rare chance to score one of these highly sought after Washburn anniversary instruments.
Featuring a solid aged Spruce top, and solid Trembesi back and sides (Trembesi is the South Americ...

#8463 Maton ‘Super Solid’/Goldline, 1961
This is one of two vintage pieces that a regular Just Guitars customer recently bought for himself… right before the motor in his van decided to expire! This, (along with his 1975 SG Standard, already gone to a new home), must sell quickly, in order to help finance his repair bill.
Fully hand built at Maton’s original Canterbury factory in Melbourne, the shortscale Super Solid, (Maton model # EG75), and the original Mastersound were the company’s first solid body instruments, both making their debut in 1959. The double cutaway Super Solid remained in production until 1962, when ...

#8473 Regal ukulele – Rich Wood model, circa 1950
Mahogany, Spruce, Rosewood – a winning combination!
The ‘Rich Wood’ soprano ukulele appeared as late as 1951 in the Regal catalogues, but probably first appeared during 1948, or possibly early in 1949. Featuring solid Mahogany back & sides, plus a solid Spruce top and Rosewood extension-style fingerboard, after sixty years of ageing, you can believe every word of the original catalogue claim of “rich, mellow tone.”
All original, (other than a new set of D’Addario J53 Black Nylon strings), including the quality friction pegs, brass frets and the stylish, full-color, Regal crow...

#8475 Wishnevsky parlor-size Mahogany ‘Blues Dog’
Just down the road from Tobaccoville and Grims Crossroads(!), in North Carolina, Steve Wishnevsky creates 100% hand-built instruments in the old-school European fashion – one of the few remaining US instrument makers doing so.
This parlor-size ‘Blues Dog’ model is exactly what the name suggests – a neat smaller-bodied guitar, absolutely perfect for anyone with a dose of the Robert Johnsons. A rare twin sound-hole model from Steve Wishnevsky, the all solid timber construction resulting in a blues tone straight outta the backwoods. A dirt-floored meeting place down south, a bunch...

#8460 Airline ‘Folkstar’ Resonator, 1964
Built for the Chicago-based Montgomery Ward department stores & catalogue company by the giant National/Supro/Valco corporation, (also based in Chicago), Airline had a guitar for everyone, from acoustics and big bodied jazz boxes to basses and a score of different solidbody electrics. They also produced a line of resonators, all of which have now become extremely hard to find, especially outside the United States.
Jack White of the White Stripes’ has made the sixties Airline electrics famous again, and here in Australia, blues legend Jeff Lang has made players aware of this grea...

#8465 Gibson Nouveau 12-string, NV-12, 1987
Gibson made just 139 super high-quality Nouveau instruments, across a few months of 1986/87, before realising they were losing money on every one, (particularly the 12-strings), at which point the specifications were substantially stripped down and the guitars were re-branded as an Epiphone budget line. It’s very rare for any of the original 139 to come onto the market, let alone a 12-string version, and we believe this may be the only one ever offered for sale in Australia.
Bodies and necks of the production Nouveau models were shaped in Japan, with the instruments then finishe...

#8454 Gibson Les Paul Classic – Ltd Edition Zebrawood

This one is brand new, showroom condition, at the amazing Just Guitars price of only $3475!
The Zebrawood cap is matched to a solid Mahogany body, with set Mahogany neck and antique-bound Rosewood board with pearl inlays. (The...

NEAR MINT!
Silvertone instruments were built in Chicago by Harmony for sale through Sears department stores and catalogues, and many Silvertone models are now seriously collectable – such as the Black ‘Espanada’ guitar, made famous by Chris Isaak.
This fabulous Silvertone stencil uke has absolutely everything going for it; it’s in virtually MINT condition, (just the very slightest signs of play wear on the extruded fingerboard), it features the mega-rare “bathing beauty” stencil design, Hickory body and hardwood neck for superb tone, and did we mention the near MINT condition...

#8447 Gibson ES-120T, 1964
Collector or investment grade! One of the truly great vintage Gibson guitars, this superb ES-120T, (thinline hollowbody archtop), is from just the third year of production, and it’s in absolutely stunning condition. Built at the original Gibson plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan, (most likely around mid-February of 1964), these are not to be confused with the various ES-125 models, which are far more common.
This is a one owner instrument, that’s been extremely well looked after – there’s no noticeable fret wear, no wear to the board, no buckle-rash on the back, and just very light pl...
