Gibson don’t often designate guitars as “parlor size”, but the L-00 definitely fits the category – a smaller size body, that’s comfortable to play, and projects like buggery.

Woody Guthrie was the first name we mentioned as having been an L-00 player – check out pic # 5 for a couple of great Woody images. Industry standard
Pretty much all the big names above are known for real dynamic range across their songs and playing, from the quietest shimmers to the loudest banging it out, and the L-00 has always been one of the machines most capable of delivering, from one end of the sonic spectrum to the other, with that famous Gibson string-to-string articulation that sets the industry standard.

Box of musical bliss
The Walnut body has near the same snap as Maple, and slightly more lower-mid bark, without the boominess of the bigger Gibson bodies, which makes it ideal for blues and country work, plus finger-picking, jazz, R&B, blissed-out jams – this little box of musical bliss takes them all in its stride. This is extra noticeable when you plug in, due to the excellent range provided by the tone control.
