Great assemblage of guitar timbers

Completed in July of 1994, by renowned Maton craftsman Ron Smiley, this EM325 dreadnought features a great assemblage of guitar timbers: a solid Sitka Spruce top; Queensland Walnut back & sides; Queensland Maple neck; Indian Rosewood fingerboard and matching bridge – the grain suggesting that both came from the same piece of timber.

Maton’s original AP4 pickup gives you the option of peaceful Sunday afternoon back porch strumming, or plugging in for your Friday night gig, with a highly faithful transfer of the magnificent acoustic sounds to your amp.

Condition

Finished in a nice satin nitro – against which the mosaic pattern rosette is perfectly offset – the guitar comes in a Yamaha hard case, as Maton at the time supplied the EM325 without cases. Condition is a well-played Very Good- (various surface scratches and dings, as shown), with the frets at around 80%.
