Immediate impact
Much the way PRS did, when they first appeared back in the eighties, twenty years later Paoletti also began having an immediate impact on the upper reaches of the guitar world, with familiar designs, matched to high end components, stunning paintwork, and the disarming combination of those wine barrel timbers and the company’s killer inhouse pickups.

Playing stability
The incredibly eye-catching flame Maple neck and fingerboard presents a scintillating 3D effect at certain angles of light, with the genuine mother-of-pearl dot inlays sparkling between the medium-jumbo frets. The body – hand carved from those ancient Chestnut barrels – is loaded up with Pauletti’s hand-wound, wax potted, single coil/humbucker pickup combination, Floyd Rose tremolo bridge system by Schaller, and CTS and Switchcraft controls. Up the pointy end, 18:1 high ratio Kluson K-line tuners, locking nut and string retainer all combine for a playing stability that you’ll find hard to beat.
An absolute revelation
Sonically, this is about as good as it gets! The humbucker at the bridge pumps the grunt and swagger and bite of yer Les Paul, while the neck single coil… well, this was a real eye-opener. Where many neck pickups are just plain muddy, this comes across like someone snuck into the number 1 studio at Abbey Road and stole all the room sound. This much “air” in a neck pickup is an absolute revelation.
A work of Tuscan art
As hard as we’ve strived to highlight the Alfa Loft's superb Dante Heaven finish, the reality is so much more striking. This guitar will light up every stage, every studio, every back porch, every bedroom… it really is a work of Tuscan art. Our consignment customer left the 3oz/90g steel tremolo cover off, but it’s included with the rest of the case candy, and seen on the righthand side of pic # 6. The case is the original Paoletti deluxe hard shell. Case candy includes the original COA, Paoletti strap, Paoletti picks, coasters, owner’s manual and more.
