The Taylor Swift signature model Baby is based on the original 3/4-size Taylor Baby, loved by musicians worldwide. The Tay Tay model is the result of a special collaboration between Taylor Guitars and the multi-talented country/pop singer/actress, and boasts Ms Swift’s silk-screened custom logo wrapping around the sound-hole – her own vine design – with the word ‘Love’ interwoven three times. Her signature appears below the soundhole.
Mahogany, Spruce, Ebony
The ¾-size acoustic dreadnaught features a laminated Mahogany body, solid Sitka Spruce top, 22¾”-scale Mahogany neck, Ebony bridge and an Ebony board with pearl dot markers. There’s a NuBone nut and saddle, fully adjustable truss-rod and a wide, very player friendly, 15” radius fingerboard.
Huge sound!
The huge sound produced by the Baby Taylor range has to be heard to be believed. We’ve seen hundreds of different ¾-size instruments over the years, from new guitars to ones made in the 1800s, but none push out the volume of a Baby. And it’s an incredibly well-balanced sound, too; sparkling high notes, lush mids and a warm low end that seems almost impossible from a ¾-size guitar.

Taylor’s ES-B pickup & preamp system is a fully professional package, based on the same Expression System from the full-size, high-end models in the Taylor range. Dual piezo elements faithfully capture the acoustic tone and channel it into the onboard preamp, which features separate volume and tone controls, plus an inbuilt chromatic tuner. And to make sure you’re never left in the lurch, the system uses two 3 volt button cell batteries, providing around 300 hours of use, with the LED display also incorporating a low battery indicator.
