The American Deluxe was the Fender first model to feature hand-rolled fingerboard edges – something that has gone on to become pretty much an industry standard. The combination of rolled edges on the 9½" radius board, medium-jumbo frets, and satin finish on the modern-C profile neck, all make for one of the nicest playing, best feeling guitar necks you’ve ever experienced.
