The perfect guitar
PRS guitars are probably the finest production model instruments in the world these days – every one a shining example of Paul Reed Smith’s endless mission to build the perfect guitar. As far as we’re concerned, this lefty Custom 24 comes damn close!
Glow and shimmer
The core construction of this exquisite guitar are a solid Mahogany body, single piece Mahogany neck and a stunning flame Maple carved top. This 10 Top boasts a nice, wide pattern to the flame, which really allows the Solana Burst to glow and shimmer.
Twelve years in development
Paintwork is PRS’s superb V12 finish. Twelve years in development, V12 offers all the tonal benefits of a traditional, super-thin nitro finish, with the armor-like protection of high-end automotive acrylic.

Wider and more open tone
The 59/09 pickups feature curved tops, matching the radius of the fingerboard, imparting a wider and more open tone. Speaking of the fingerboard, the old-school Abalone birds are some of the nicest we’ve seen, shining out from the Indian Rosewood like those on a Private Stock model! (See pic # 6)

Other specifications include PRS ‘Regular’ neck carve; 9½” fingerboard radius; PRS tremolo system; V12 gloss back and sides; nickel hardware; gloss neck and back finish; PRS Phase II open-back locking tuners; and 5-way switching, which includes dual humbucker position*.
