Description

Twenty-six years old and now officially a vintage Ric! And a real treat with this one is that the Fireglo finish is not as in-your-face as it sometimes can be – it’s almost a shade or two towards the even cooler Autumnglo.

Cuts across everything else in the mix

The top of the 330’s Maple body is famously carved from a single piece of timber, a construction factor that helps deliver that famous Rickenbacker jingle-jangle. And, as exemplified by the likes of Paul Weller, Tom Petty, Pete Townshend, Susanna Hoffs, Daniel Johns, Thom Yorke, Peter Buck, Carrie Brownstein of Sleater-Kinney and many, many more, this is one of those guitars that really cuts across everything else in the mix when you give it a bit of a nudge.

Rickenbacker’s top-selling model

Rickenbacker’s top-selling model features a 24¾” scale, 24-fret Maple neck/Rosewood board combination; dual truss-rods; famous Ric ‘Hi-gain’ pickups; Schaller tuners; traditional Rickenbacker split-level pickguard; the stylish ‘R’ tailpiece; and the equally stylish cats-eye or “slash” soundhole.

Blender control

Sound wise, when it comes to giving you control over your output, Rickenbacker go that bit extra, providing individual tone volume controls for each pickup, plus Ric’s terrific blender control, with which you can conjure up a wide variety of volume & tone possibilities.

See where a 330 can take you

The blokes in pic # 5 knew their way around the sonic possibilities of a Rickenbacker – check out our soundfile and see where a 330 can take you!

A total delight

With perfect action, the famous slim Rickenbacker neck is a total delight – as smooth and fast as you’ve ever imagined playing. The guitar has been played, but is in overall Excellent- condition, with some touched up light dings along the bottom edge, (likely from not using a guitar stand), some light buckle wear on the back, (nothing through the surface), and some light wear of the fingerboard clearcoat in a couple of places, (pic # 7). The frets have years left on them.

100% ready to plug in and play

Complete with its original hard shell case, (above right and pic # 8), plus original Rickenbacker leather strap, the guitar has been professionally maintained and pro-serviced and is 100% ready to plug in and play. As with all Just Guitars instruments, your Fireglo 330 comes with FREE COURIER DELIVERY to any address in Australia. ($100 shipping to New Zealand, $175 to the US, Canada, UK and mainstream European countries)
