Danelectro Hearsay - distortion model! BRAND NEW

The Mosrite-ish styled Hearsay - designed by California surf guru Ron Sargent* - was only available during 2002, so given that this extra-cool example is BRAND NEW old stock, we're fairly certain it's the only unplayed Hearsay available anywhere in Australia. 

Fab, retro sounds

Designed with in-built distortion(!), by playing around with the Effects knob you can produce some really fab, retro sounds. And twin output jacks(!) let you choose to either bypass the effects board, or output in stereo!

Features

Featuring an extremely low 2002 production number, the Hearsay is finished in full-gloss Redburst, with chunky Silver glitter! One of the later, 21-fret models, (medium-jumbo frets), you get three single coil pickups that pack a real sixties-retro punch! The middle pickup is reverse wound, giving you humbucker sounds when combined with either the neck or bridge. There’s a 5-way selector switch, big, chunky vintage-style Danelectro "waffle-back" tuners – PLUS, that nifty, built-in distortion at the push of a button!!

"Coke bottle" headstock

This guitar is brand new old stock, complete with the Dano hang tags, and being from the original re-issue series, features the authentic Coke bottle headstock, which is no longer available on any reissue model!
