Stunning quilt top
This brand new Custom 24 – in rare Santana Yellow – features an absolutely stunning quilt top, (well beyond a 10-top). You'll need to look twice to discern that it's not actually a one-piece top! You get the whole package here: carved Maple quilt top; highly desirable Santana Yellow finish; a really nice one-piece Mahogany back; set Mahogany neck with Standard neck carve, (one of the very last Custom 24s with the PRS Standard carve neck profile, (now replaced by the new "Pattern Regular" profile); 24-fret Rosewood board, (25" scale), featuring a dazzling set of abalone silhouette birds.
HFS/Vintage pickups
HFS/Vintage pickups, (now out of regular production), with coil-tap; old-school PRS 3-way pickup switch; natural Maple binding; PRS tremolo system; PRS low-mass locking tuners; amber speed knobs… just an all-round killer package! The body is maybe a millimeter or two thinner than most other Custom 24s that we've had through, making it an absolute delight to hold. There's lovely 3D depth to the quilt top, and every detail is finished to total perfection. By the way, the combination of the HFS bridge and Vintage neck pickups, along with the coil-tap, allows you to kick some serious arse, making this not just a fine looking axe, but a serious contender in the balls-to-the-wall, "rocking out" stakes!
